Mayhem Sale

Not sure where you stand on the whole social sharing thing, but I was never a fan of foursquare or "checking-in" on Facebook. Just always thought it was a terrible idea to tell the world how long you would be leaving your home unattended. 

 

Fortunately for me, working on the Allstate account gave me access to Mayhem, who had a long track record of making people's terrible ideas into breakthrough work. 

And in a nutshell, that's what we did with Social Savvy Burglar, except this time we did it with a real couple, an eight commercial Sugar Bowl takeover, and a fully functional ecommerce website where Mayhem could hawk his loot.

Not sure where you stand on the whole social sharing thing, but I was never a fan of foursquare or "checking-in" on Facebook. Just struck me as a terrible idea to broadcast to the world that you and the hubs need recos for places to eat in Belize for the next ten days, when what you're really saying is, "hey burglars, do you like super easy houses to burgle?"

Fortunately for me, working on the Allstate account allowed me access to Mayhem, who had a long track record of transforming people's vulnerabilities into breakthrough work. 

And in a nutshell, that's what we did with Social Savvy Burglar; except this time we did it with a real couple, a Twitter account, an eight commercial Sugar Bowl takeover, and a fully functional ecommerce website where Mayhem could plunder these oversharing people's worldly possessions, and pass the savings on to you. 

 
 

It was well-received and set a new bar for multi-commercial Big Game takeovers.
